Ways to Give to CBM Financially

You can help in several ways:

CBM is a non-profit organization which depends on funds from individuals and churches.

We exist to share the Gospel.

    1.  Mail in tax deductible gifts (see printable form below)

    2.  Gifts in Kind. CBM accepts tangible gifts with the understanding that if the ministry cannot

use the gift itself, the ministry may sell or give the gift to another party and use the funds from that gift.

    3.  Credit card donations are accepted

New Gift Giving Opportunity

THAT WILL MAKE A LASTING DIFFERENCE TO CBM

On August 17, 2006 President George Bush signed the Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA 2006). Although this legislation focuses primarily on pension matters, Congress included various charitable giving incentives and reform measures within it. Of particular interest are the provisions that relate to tax-free withdrawals from certain retirement accounts to fund charitable gifts. The provisions allow a donor to give up to $100,000 per year to one or more qualified charities, provided certain conditions are met. All such gifts must be completed by December 31, 2007 at which time the legislation expires unless otherwise extended or made permanent by Congress. Click New Gift Giving Opportunity to view the condition for qualifications.

BEST Endowment Fund  A way your gift will keep on giving even when you can't!

What is the purpose of this fund?  Each year there are many children who would like to attend CBM Bible camps but their parents are not able to afford the camp fees. These are worthy children, and many of them have worked hard memorizing verses and doing lessons to earn a Bible camp scholarship. Since nothing is free (camps must supply food, counselors, cooks, etc) it is necessary that the cost for these campers be underwritten by caring individuals.

By contributing to the BEST Endowment Fund, your gift can be repeated every eight to twelve years, continuing to help children attend Bible camp throughout your entire life and even after your death until Jesus comes again. CBM has been reaching out to others for over 72 years. It is a very stable, vigorous organization which expects to continue serving until the church is raptured.

How does it work?  Your gift will be invested in secure, profitable investments.  The principal will continue perpetually, but the profits from the investments will be used each year to help worthy children attend one of the CBM Bible camps.  Assuming an eight to twelve percent return, your gift will repeat itself about every ten years.  For example, a $10,000 gift that is earning 10% would produce $1,000 each year to help children attend Bible camp.  After 10 years your gift would have produced $10,000 and would continue perpetually providing camp scholarships year after year until Jesus comes again.  We are praying that over time, this fund will grow to the $100,000 level or above.  At that level it is realistic to expect that each year $10,000 could be used to help worthy, needy children to benefit from the Bible camp experience.  In one recent year CBM raised over $80,000 to help children come to CBM camps.  The proceeds from the BEST Endowment Fund would serve to increase that amount.
